The respective changes in Russian Legislation have been adopted with the support of Saint-Petersburg City Government. In accordance with the revised law visa free regime will be extended for ferry passengers of all nationalities traveling to the ports of Russian Federation.

"Princess Maria" is a 34 000 GRT modern passenger ferry which can accommodate up to 1638 passengers on board and carry up to 395 vehicles.

606 cabins of different types will create excellent conditions for travelling between Saint-Petersburg and Helsinki in budget and in style way.

The vessel was built in Finland and until nowadays was operated by first-class Danish ferry operator (DFDS A/S). Before operations start “Princess Maria” will be refreshed, renewed and specially equipped in compliance with all international conventions and modern comfort demands.

The operator of the ferry line - "ST.PETER LINE" is registered in EU and will propose high international level of services for clients onboard. In 2010 the company is planning to make 5 voyages from Saint-Petersburg and Helsinki every week and serve more than 500 000 passengers.
